Opinion:

I loved reading this book. From the very first page, I was hooked. This book is roughly 200 pages and I finished in two days. There was just a constant flow between pages that made you want to continue reading. It felt very much like a continuous thought. It doesn’t seem to have set titles for each poem which also contributed to this easy-flow type of read.

These poems are separated into four sections. Each section, as shown with its drawing, gives us a glimmer of hope. I feel like these poems were extremely relatable whether you are fighting internal demons or not because we all have thoughts of wanting to be happy, wanting to be better, and wanting to have hope.

There was one poem that stuck with me. it was read one way forward and a different way backward. It was so powerful and memorable. It made me feel somewhat insecure but reading it backward gave me a whole new perspective.

Rating: 4/5

Overall, I would recommend this book. It is an easy read and highly relatable. Once I started a new book I seemed to forget it. But, I still enjoyed it.
